New Oberpfalz Brewing

New Oberpfalz was founded on the basis of the world needing more Helles. Our founder’s travels to Europe near the turn of the century brought him face to face with fresh, unfiltered, well-made lager beer- something America was sorely lacking in. He resolved to bring these experiences back to America, and New Oberpfalz Brewing came to be.

​Built of stone and steel, New Oberpfalz churns through the bounty of the land and produces beer (and food) of unique and exceptional quality.

​Our beer wins awards. Our food brings in the locals. Our staff aims to please. You can buy our 6pks at stores and buy our beer on draft at great bars and restaurants in northern Indiana.

​We are a small brewery, and we run out of beer sometimes (and all of the time).

The taproom has but one television and we do not take reservations. You’ll just have to show up and see what is happening. Check our Google listing for the most accurate hours and information. ​
